Working......

This week I have been crocheting a lot.

I have making nice little preemie hats for the local charity. I have a good little set going. I can't wait to turn them into the organization. I really do hope that they help out.

I have been working on a few blankets.
I will post pics of them once completed!!

Welcoming A New Month!!

July is finally here!

June seemed to drag on a bit to me.
Got plans for this Saturday's Happy 4th?

My family is planning on going to see the local fireworks show. (I can't attend due to bed rest but can't wait till next year when I can)

It is going to be a great day before hand of grilling hot dogs and hambugers if all plans go right. Should be a blast.

Along with the turn of the month came a new drive from Kaye's Kreations. I am planning on donating a few hats monthly to a local orgization that gives the hats to the NICU at the local hospital. I am very excited about this. I can't wait to help out. Even though I am on bed rest working up a few hats to donate is something that I can do.

Super Cool!

I was surfing YouTube today. Which can always be fun!
I came across this awesome show called Threadbangers. It is meant for the DIY community and has some very cool ideas!

I watched on how to make recycled beads from paper.



Today me and my youngest sister, who is 7, made tons of theses little beads and had fun stringing them on yarn.

I think that they are great for kid projects as well as more classy items like the video shows.

What it means to be unique!

To me what it means to be unique is to be yourself. Be true to who you are not to the cookie cutter styles of almost every store at malls around the world.

I know what I like. I like bright colors!!

Rainbow Brite is AWESOME! When I was in high school I was voted Most Unique for my senior class! It was for a reason! I lived in leg warmers, poncho, and anything bright! Most of the items I would make myself!

After high school I decided to started Kaye's Kreations. At first I was nervous to be as bold with my designs. I can't really say why I was. But now I am not anymore. If I have an idea I run with it!

Design is the ability to be FREE!! There are no rules!
